No. The workshop starts with ultrasound basics before hands-on scanning and phantom practice. The on-demand lecture is a good primer if you'd like a head start.
The live workshop is designated for up to 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ through Maimonides Medical Center, and every attendee receives a certificate of completion. Nurses and other clinicians should check with their licensing board or employer on how it applies to their requirements.
